The staff was pleasant and wonderful. No complaints there. However, the wait time is ridiculous. A gentleman came in at 8:00 p.m., and it is now approaching 3:00 a.m., and he is still waiting in the waiting area. There are not enough beds in the back, is what he was told. I came in shortly after him, and my legs are in so much pain, but I'm trying to keep it together, without crying"because there are no more rooms." Several other people have left.
Staff: excellent.
Waiting to be seen and treated: Horrible!

Terrible. After 7 hours we finally told we were ‘next’ to be seen by a doctor. Then, a shift change and the next triage nurse said there were still several people ahead of us and she couldn’t tell us how many. I ended up leaving with my 81 year old mother after having sat in the waiting room all day. Disgusting treatment of the elderly and patients in general.
Now I know the tricks…call an ambulance in order to jump to the front of the line. Better yet… go to Midstate in Meriden.

Been approximately 5.5 hours since arrival. Still haven’t seen a doctor. They took my blood roughly 4 hours ago and promptly emailed them to me so I can worry about all the elevated levels as I wait. Another cool future is that the emergency room men’s bathroom stall doesn’t close at all.

I had to come in here in the middle of the night for horrible abdominal pain and I had a wonderfully positive experience. Every single person - the registration staff, triage nurse, transport staff, ED nurses, ED providers, and consult OB GYN providers - treated me with kindness and empathy. I felt well taken care the entire time I had to stay, by both the overnight team and the day team

Then I had to leave because of an emergency later I came back for the results they told me I had to check into the ER a 2d time I did had to wait along time again asked for the original doctor for the results they told me he left I had to wait for another doctor so I left without my results I spent approx 13 hrs in the ER with no results. Very poor service Procedures should be examined and improved

You could die right in front of these people and they still wouldn’t give a rat’s ass, been stuck behind the same 3 people for hours without any form of update or service while people who showed up BEFORE ANY OF US were being treated first. They seem to have so sense of order of patients and a man who comes in with a runny nose will 100% be seen and attended to before a woman having heart issues and cancer. Can’t even say this is a one time occurrence, thus place has been an issue for years and it’s only getting worse. How am I seeing doctors and nurse chit chat and laugh while on the clock instead of taking patients. Make it make sense.
