Es un hospital muy grande y esta limpio excepto por el area de emergencia, es un area escondida y parece que fuera la parte de atras de un building abandonado donde te van a robar sin contar que la atención es malisima de igual forma es dentro del hospital es muy mala la atención solo algunas enfermeras están ahi porque aman su trabajo y no por el dinero pero la gran mayoría dejan mucho que desear para atender a un paciente, no los chequean solo a veces pasan a ver, si es un paciente indefenso en cama NO lo limpian bien, NO le prestan la debida atención.

Excelente hospital te atienden muy bien las enfermeras son muy amables y todas las personas que trabajan en este hospital son muy atentos y cordiales se preocupan mucho por todos los pacientes.

I just want to give a big thumbs up to the Mount Sinai South Nassau Emergency Room this evening, 10/23/24. Most of us know how long we usually have to wait when it comes to a hospital emergency room but tonight was the complete opposite for me! I was having some serious issues with my lower back and walked in to the emergency room or should I say hobbled in to the ER around 8:45pm. Not only was my check in quick but getting called into triage was less than 5 minutes. Courtney, the PA was absolutely top-notch in both professionalism and knowledge. We discussed options for pain relief and I was given the medical attention I needed and I was on my way home within an hour of arriving to the hospital. I know this never happens but tonight it did for me and I needed to give props where it was needed. Thank you Courtney and to the sweet nurse in triage who took such great care of me.

We only went to South Nassau because the paramedics refused to take us to Lij, which is our normal hospital where we normally have no issues. when we arrived, I was forced to sit in the waiting room because it was allegedly too busy. When I got back there, it was not too busy and there was other people with a family member with them. Hospitals normally tell us only one family member can be with the person, but South Nassau did not allow even one person until it was almost time to discharge my family member.My family member was forced to be in the hallway and talk about his private medical information in the hallway around other people,even had to do an exam of a private area in the hallway, it wasn’t until they realized that he did not know any of his medical information that they finally called me back there. There was nowhere for him to charge. His phone so I was unable to reach him. And once they called me back there, they had already been done with all testing. We were just waiting for one more result for him to be discharged We will never be returning to this hospital again next time we will take an Uber to Lij where we will have a much better experience.

We see a nurse who asked a few questions then we had bloodwork. This process took 2 hours. No prob.

My partner reported 6/10 chest pain to the nurse, I guess the labs covered that? His baseline heart rate for 30 bpm higher than normal. He was also sweating and nauseous. I guess they assumed it was secondary to just feeling sick?

Then we waited 4+ more hours to go into another room. We got a scan and waited another 2 hours. PA told us results and needed a couple minutes to give us discharge info. That took another 45 minutes.

Not that it matters, but we're never returning. We came because it was the closest hospital and he had chest pain.

Gave 2 stars because we didn't feel any concern about his health. The room we eventually went to was nice though.

Compassion fatigue is REAL.

This is NOT a hospital and the staff are all paid actors. Honestly I don’t know how they’re operating. Good luck on this location mount sinai.

It was very very bad experience my 9 years daughter crying with stomach pain we were waiting 4 hours and came back same pain. It was worse experience for me. The nurse Eva sunday evening shift she was so so rude with me .
