I have NEVER been to a hospital like this in my life. I witnessed a woman take her own IV out just to leave. I had to ask 3 times to get my discharge papers. After the first time they let my husband come and sit with me. Which is crazy because we are having a baby together, that should be automatic. After the second time I had been seen. Doctor Harrison really listened and took an ultrasound for my baby. I would STRONGLY advise not to come to this hospital. I would say Doctor Harrison is amazing. If you complain to him he will do all that he can to help you and get you what you need. The nurses however, are short tempered and don't care.

My husband wrote: P.S. I would rather die at home than at this E.R.

The worst hospital, not only in the Bronx, but in the entire United State. They ignore patients, they do not care about patients. Very poor service. These are not professionals. I would rather say that they should resign from their services. An urgent call must be made to the director here, and as for cleanliness, the worst.

What type of emergency room is this? My mother came in with difficulty breathing, dizziness and heart pain and she was ignored by staff that were talking amongst themselves and laughing. She was there for almost 2 hours being ignored. If you didn't become a doctor to help people, THEN QUIT! If something happens to my mother I WILL be suing.

Doctors walk around more than actually working & checking up on patients. My aunt waited 4 hours to see a doctor for a few seconds then waited another 4 hours to get pain medication. I don’t recommend this hospital especially if you have any abdominal pains or any other pain.

Nurse Dolores is just a mean girl who probably barely passed her RN exams! Rude and disgusting. She yells at patients for crying and gives horrible attitude towards patients and visitors/escorts. They need to fire her or re-educate her. No wonder everyone calls this the death hospital when no one cares about their patients! Pathetic lady, probably thinks hiding behind a scrub is protecting her. Inconsiderate and rude! Nurse Dolores was on night shift on 02/16/24 to 02/17/24! I hope they reprimand her. There was another rude nurse, she is lucky I don’t got her name.

05/20/24 it shouldn’t take 35 mins to register, if that’s how you doing things, maybe you should have a number ticket system, where someone walks in to the emergency department and gets a ticket number and have a seat, until their number is called in, to register. You Shouldn’t have to be standing in front of the desk for 35 mins just to register. Please do better.
