Fui con la presión alta y un dolor de cabeza horrible , y tuve que irme por las largas horas de esperas y encima de eso muchas mujeres casi pariendo en los pasillos sin ponerle atención es desesperante ver como no nos atienden a tiempo y mujeres a punto de parir sin ser atendidas

Mujeres en labor de parto en los pasillos y sala de espera, casi pariendose en los pasillos o sea horrible, subanlas a cuarto a parir decentemente, se supone que es sala de emergencia de mujeres e infantes por lo tanto es obvio que habran mujeres de parto, ok, pero si vas por otra cosa te dicen te vas a tardar porquehay muchas mujeres de parto, o sea a quien le importa el tiempo q se vaya a tomar si necesita atención medica, sea la razón que sea, o me das una buena opción o simplemente anotame y punto, cuando me toque mi turno me toco y ya, actuan como si no quisieran tener sala llena pero como no va a estar llena o sea es una sala de emergencia, no le doy menos estrellas porque tienen un Dr. que es excelente y es Dr. Brown, el mejor de alli tu sales sin ninguna duda completamente satisfecha con tu diagnóstico gracias a Dr. Brown

Horrible wait time, no urgency. If you’re dying or think you’re dying, you’re better off at home or going out of state. I came in because I was miscarrying and I wouldn’t stop bleeding. Every time I asked how much more, she said you’re next. Next never came. I couldn’t believe that she said deliveries come first which is understandable but all I kept Track of how many women came after me. They were all called in. I couldn’t understand. Miscarriage is just as important as delivery.

Waiting here now going on SEVEN HOURS! Who cares if my cramping means miscarriage RIGHT?! Got here at ten and it’s 4:30AM. What a joke! If I didn’t miscarry before, I probably am now bc this is STRESSFUL and prob gonna have to drive on fumes to get to Charlton in Fall River. This place is NOTHING like it used to be!

Been here since 9:15am been waiting for a room and it is now 12:30 pm this is really ridiculous Boston would never i really hate the health care system in Ri the really need to do better.. I’m in so much pain and they just sit you in the waiting room don’t check up on you or anything i seen 3 people leave already because they been waiting so long it’s really a shame they don’t care about how much pain you in and the sad part is it’s an emergency room for pregnant woman

This is not a review of the emergency room, it is for the 2nd floor ambulatory surgery team What we have here is a failure to communicate. My wife had a procedure here. They sent no prep materials. The directions were not great we parked in paid parking and paid $5 for less than an hour, meanwhile there is a valet parking service. I hope it is free. There are three hospitals here. Two buildings named woman and children. My wife went in and no one explained what to expect. I waited for 5 hours only to hear another husband being told he can leave and will be contacted to return. If I knew this I could have planned better. There should be a checklist to follow or give a hand out explaining their processes.

Worst experience of my life. I had some bleeding going on and went immediately to this emergency room as I’m 11 weeks pregnant. I fully understand the long wait times (we waited 6 hours to be seen and a total of 7 hours there) as women in labor were rushing in. This rating is not about the wait time. I passed a very large clot while waiting and I let the doctor know this. He stated I’m most likely having a miscarriage which is what my husband and I thought. He did an ultrasound and found my baby with a heart beat and something next to the sac but didn’t let me know what it was. He was very unsure of my cervix being open and when using the speculum to check, had me at an odd angle and opened the speculum halfway through my canal, causing me more pain than what I was already in. I had to ask him to pull out and adjust me. When that was settled, he couldn’t for sure say if my cervix was open due to the amount of blood. He kept going back and forth with no definite answers and told me to rest and take it easy. He then went out to consult with an OBGYN and she stated I should’ve been offered and abortion as she definitely thinks I’m miscarrying and most women “want to get it started to not have to go through with passing anything”. My husband and I went to a different hospital that confirmed I AM NOT miscarrying and actually passed a hematoma. They also confirmed my baby was moving and had a strong heartbeat of 178. They also did bloodwork to confirm my HCG levels, which women and infants did no bloodwork at all. They put me on bed rest and stated there is a still a chance but I should’ve been educated by the OBGYN and that she should’ve had a look at things instead of letting the emergency doctor do it since he was so unsure. It’s unfortunate my normal OBGYN is care New England which is related to women and infants. Definitely looking for a new OBGYN so I don’t have to deliver here. The second hospital I went to was Charlton in Fall River, Ma. In case anyone else would like a second opinion too. They had me in and out in 2 and a half hours with EVERYTHING they did, including blood work, an ultrasound, vitals, talking to the doctor and gave me a doctors note for work, which women and infants didn’t. I’m glad I got that second opinion because if I would’ve blindly followed the advice for an abortion, I wouldn’t have my baby.

I brought my wife here three weeks ago and it will be the last time. I will give them credit as they got her in quickly but that's were the good things to say end. She was in so much pain, the worst I had ever seen her due to a known condition. They took a urine sample and blood sample but couldn't take her for any further test as she was in too much pain to run any tests. They gave her morphine and nothing happened. We explained she was taking 600-800 mlg of Ibuprofen, even 1000 mlg to deal with the pain and that wouldn't touch the pain either, hence why we were there. They gave her something else and it finally calmed her down enough for them to run tests. They came back after running the tests and said they saw nothing out of the norm and we would need to talk to her regular OBGYN about the issue but we would be getting Oxy Codone to deal with the pain, which I was surprised at but glad they were at least giving her something to help ease the pain. The head ER doctor came in and said she wasn't giving us pain meds and went on to brush us off with a BS explanation that seemed like a brush off rather than addressing her pain issues. Oddly, she mentions how my wife's white blood cell count and other things were similar to someone who was detoxing from cocaine. My wife explains that is normal for her due to her medical history and pulls up her medical reports on her patient portal showing that is not uncommon for her. My wife gets irritated as they were not doing anything for her and not giving her anything for the pain and she even said it doesn't even have to be anything powerful, she just needed something as ibuprofen wasn't touching it anymore. The doctor explained "her job" was to make sure my wife wasn't in immediate danger. Disgusted, we waited to get discharged and went home. Luckily whatever they gave her lasted the night and she was able to sleep. We couldn't believe we were treated as drug addicts who were coming in for a fix instead of someone who was in so much pain she couldn't sleep or be able to go to work. The whole thing was insane. I don't drink, smoke (my parents are walking anti smoking ads) have never even tried weed nevermind anything else. My wife gets sleepy after having one mudslide. Truly disgusted the hospital works from a position of fear rather than helping someone who comes through their door in severe pain and needs help.
