Necesitan mas personal y amabilidad para atender dure 5 horas esperando al doctor para que atienda a mi hija y todo era mas importante que ella no tienen respeto de desir que se van a tardar tanto y asi haber buscado otro lugar

Nurses take you back based on severity of your issue so be prepared to wait a couple of hours in the waiting room if you're not in extreme pain or dying. I understand there's not enough people to help but nothing to do on our end about that.. but once you do get a room, the nurses and doctors are extremely friendly and attentive to your needs. They will take care of your needs and make sure you are informed of tests they will do and results.

Went in because I fell down the stairs and landed on cement. I have a broken toe and waited 6 hours to finally get called for a room. I am 7 months pregnant and watched people come and leave before me. Makes zero sense, will not be back. I understand they go based on severity however I watched the waiting area empty and fill twice. There is no way.

I took my grandma to this location on Tuesday evening due to her experiencing a severe pain on the right side torso. I had to leave her there for 30 minutes to take my daughter home after a long day. Before leaving, I made sure to inform front desk that my grandma has severe hearing loss and does not understand English very well. I was ensured that she was in good hands. When I came back, grandma said that no one called her in yet. Thus, 2 hours later no one called her still. I decided to check with the front desk as to why she hasn't been called while new incoming patients have been already admitted. First, they couldn't find her in the system. Then they finally said that she was discharged. When asked with what diagnosis, the answer was "we called her 3 times and she didn't answer". Can you believe it? That's after I specifically told them that grandma is almost deaf. To remedy the problem, they offered to put her back in line as if she just checked in.
The reason I'm giving 1 star is because the staff were apologetic and cooperative, but the fact of their negligence still stands. For an 87 year old person it could be the matter of life or death. Such a situation in the ER at that is simply unacceptable.

Went there over a year ago because i believed i was having a seizure (I'm an RN). I was in delirium- hallucinating and delusional due to a bad reaction to Wellbutrin. They took my purse and put me in a room to wait it out. No medical care, just treating me like a junkie, and being horrible people. I was admitted to Highland Park Hospital about a week later for a 3 day inpatient stay. I received proper care there. This is a horrible facility. If they had bothered to do a basic intake exam I probably could have avoided having to be an inpatient at another facility.

Doctor did not do any physical exam and ordered a CT scan after detected blood in urine. Then told I was simply severely constipated. And no explanation for the blood found in my urine sample. There for over 9 hours. Doctor left then told we had to wait for other doctor to discuss the radiologist’s findings- waited over 3 hours for results. This ER is so unprofessional- would avoid at all cost. I came after my doctor found hematuria in my urine and sent me to the ER.

Avoid this place at ALL costs. No real triage system- they take anyone first who says they have a sprain, possible break, etc. regardless of actual pain threshold or even appearance of an actual injury. Other people who are actually very sick are left in waiting room to puke all over, lay down, and cry. Waits could not be more ridiculous with zero communication or system. Already saw a doctor at northwestern who sent me here and still have waited over three hours and not been seen yet. There doesn’t appear to be anyone bringing people in and out and a reasonable pace, seen one maybe two people discharged in three hours. Do not come here.

Was worried to come based on other reviews. I came at 6am and waited maybe 10 mins before they saw me. Nurse (Karen) was awesome and the Doc too. Also I would say the place is generally clean except for the bathroom which was dirty.
